Since "Meals on Wheels" is no longer available, the Seniors' Association has decided to make reasonably priced dinners available for all Seniors living in Powell River and district.
We have prepared some frozen meals, which will be sold 'at cost'.
Currently we have frozen Roast Beef Dinner or Chicken Dinner for $5.00, and
Oven-Steak Dinner with Veggies and Onion Gravy for $6.00.
Call Gene at Jamieson 604 485-5894 to order and arrange a pick up time.
If there is enough demand, the Association will be scheduling a day and time to pick up every week, at the Cranberry Seniors Centre.
The ultimate goal is to offer several different meals per week, but first the Association has to ensure that there is enough demand.
Please let your senior friends who are not members of the Association know about this service.
